Here's the scoop: The higher the momme, the better the quality. At Silk Coquille, we don't cut corners. Our scrunchies are made from pure mulberry silk with a substantial momme rating of 22. This means they're thicker, more durable, and have a luxurious sheen that sets them apart.

  Detergent should be free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, 1,4 dioxane, harsh chemicals, phosphates free, phthalates free, enzyme free, sulfate free, and readily biodegradable.

1. Air Dry: Air drying is the best way to dry a silk scrunchie. Lay it flat on a clean, dry towel. Gently roll the towel with the scrunchie inside to remove excess moisture. Avoid wringing or twisting the scrunchie, as this can damage the delicate silk fibers.

2. Avoid direct sunlight: Do not place the silk scrunchie in direct sunlight, as this can cause the colors to fade. Instead, find a shaded or indoor location for drying.

3. Keep it away from heat sources: Avoid using hair dryers, radiators, or other heat sources to speed up the drying process as excessive heat can damage the silk.

4. Handle with care: When the scrunchie is partially dry, gently reshape it if needed, and allow it to air dry completely.   

Silk can wrinkle, so if needed, use a low heat setting for steam ironing while the fabric is slightly damp. It's essential to avoid high heat or direct contact, as these can damage the delicate silk fibers and rhinestones.
